After the solar eclipse on Monday, join us that evening for our regularly scheduled SHNA meeting at 6:30 pm at the Martha O’Bryan Center at 711 S 7th St (when you enter the parking lot, it’s the first building on the left and first door on the left).
1. Monthly crime report from East Precinct
2. Bylaw amendments: 2 items the board has unanimously recommended. Changing to required dues for membership-this will help our neighborhood’s ability to add signage and host events in the future. Changing election requirements from allowing voting via email to “members must be present to vote”-this helps maintain transparency for future board elections.
3. New “Adopt A Storm Drain” discussion
4. Thinking about a renovation or addition? Shelby Hills neighbor and residential designer Cheyenne Smith will be sharing tips on what you might need to consider for the process.
5. Announcements: Accepting nominations for all board positions at our Monday, September 18 meeting. To nominate someone, please email or contact a board member. Our emails can be found at Board Elections will be Monday, October 16. Must be a Shelby Hills member to vote.

Nashville Night Out Against Crime, 8/1/17, 5-8 pm @ East Park.

Join SHNA and many other East Nashville neighborhood associations.

Community Wide event for ALL of East Nashville’s neighborhoods. Event will include informational booths from various neighborhood associations as well as booths representing a myriad of East Nashville Community resources. Free food, live music, bounce houses for kids, and a number of interactive police displays.
